An overseas bride can ask Vi to advise on a Vietnamese wedding dress, find it, or collect one you already ordered. Send inspiration photos, a product link, or the shop appointment. Vi works independently of the bridal shop. She is not on its staff and does not design its gowns.
Two ways to start
You have inspiration, a link, or you want advice. Send the photos or the reference link, your bust, waist, hip, and height, the wear date, and the delivery country. Say whether you need a gown, a wedding áo dài, or both. The Vietnamese clothing size guide shows how to take those measurements. Vi says which independent showroom can be checked, and whether the path is a sample to buy, a custom order, or a rental that may not leave Vietnam. If a visit will help, she can go to the shop, video-call you with the sample, and compare it with your measurements.
Vi then sends a written quote before anything is bought. The quote names the confirmed dress, VI PICK’s fee for that request, and the shipping estimate. You approve it before payment.
You already ordered at the bridal shop. Send the shop name, the appointment or order confirmation, and the gown you approved. VI PICK can collect the finished dress and check it: color, construction, closures, separate pieces such as a veil or overskirt, and obvious damage. You receive photos or video before it ships. That review is not a fitting and not a promise that the dress will close, pool, or photograph like the campaign image.
The wear date is planning information, not a delivery guarantee. Custom work, a shop try-on, QC, export, and alterations at home all sit between the quote and the ceremony.
Houses a bride can start from
These are independent showrooms an overseas bride can ask VI PICK to visit. They are not a ranking, and VI PICK is not affiliated with them. Prices below are what each house published on October 16, 2026. A saved screenshot is not the price.
Linh Nga Bridal
Linh Nga Bridal publishes couture showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, under the name Linh Nga Couture. The about page describes a premium bridal house with both rental and custom design. The design-and-tailor page says a custom order starts with a consultancy on shape, then a contract, a sketch, fabric, and a later try-on of the dress form. It asks brides to enquire about six months before the wedding. The same page says a custom contract can begin with a 30% deposit.
The pages reviewed the same day do not publish a starting gown price. The footer lists 284A Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, Phường Võ Thị Sáu, Quận 3, and 15 Mai Hắc Đế, Hà Nội. An older line on the design page also prints 95 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai. VI PICK confirms which showroom holds the appointment before the visit. If the house still requires the bride to try the dress form in person, VI PICK will not treat that as a normal overseas shipment until Linh Nga confirms the dress can be finished and released from measurements and video alone.
VI Dressmakers
VI Dressmakers is the direct path when you want a gown cut for you and you are not in Ho Chi Minh City for fittings. You work with Vi, the founder. She grew up in a family of wedding-dress makers, studied fashion design, and reviews every brief herself before a quote or a deposit. Asking costs nothing. She replies on WhatsApp within 24 hours.
Send the wedding date, the city the dress must reach, and the photos you keep coming back to. A silk dress starts from $300 USD. Lace, beading, a boned bodice, a train, and shipping change that number, and the written quote names what is included before any deposit. A typical production deposit is 50% of the confirmed dress value. You see final QC photos or video before the last payment and before the gown is packed.
Measurements can happen on a WhatsApp video call with Vi, through numbers from a local tailor that she checks, or at her private studio in Ho Chi Minh City. Fabric stays uncut until those measurements are confirmed. The atelier is in Thủ Đức. Production takes a minimum of 6 weeks and usually 8–12 weeks after that confirmation, so most brides abroad plan extra weeks for shipping and a local alteration after arrival. The order is quoted and paid on a VI Dressmakers invoice. Start with the date, the delivery city, and the silhouette at VI Dressmakers.
Nicole Bridal
Nicole Bridal is a Ho Chi Minh City showroom led by designer Nicole Ngô. The English FAQ reviewed on October 16, 2026 says the house offers custom design, made-to-measure gowns, and rental for local brides only. Custom design starts from VND 28,000,000. A made-to-measure version of a listed gown adds 20%, with a minimum of VND 5,000,000. Standard custom production is 10–16 weeks. The FAQ also says Nicole can guide measurements by video, and that the showroom is at 23 Street No. 11, Cầu Kiệu Ward, open 9:00–21:00.
If you only have inspiration, Vi can advise and look for a confirmable Nicole piece, then quote before buying. If you already ordered there, send the confirmation and VI PICK can collect the gown and QC it. Listed Nicole prices exclude shipping, duties, and destination tax. Vi is not a Nicole staff member.
Lotus Design
Lotus Design says it was founded in 2010 by designer Lien Doan and makes custom gowns in Vietnam. The homepage reviewed on October 16, 2026 publishes three starts: a bespoke wedding gown from $499, a custom traditional dress from $149, and wedding-dress rental from $185, marked only in Vietnam. The contact page lists 309-13A Võ Văn Ngân and the phone +84 98 96 52 52.
The bespoke path is described as a virtual design with their own designer. Vi does not replace that designer. She can advise from your inspiration, or collect a finished purchase and QC it before export. Rental stays in Vietnam unless Lotus confirms a purchase that can be shipped.
Chung Thanh Phong Bridal
Chung Thanh Phong Bridal is the bridal house of designer Chung Thanh Phong. Public pages describe wedding gowns and wedding áo dài rather than one ready-to-wear menu. Directory addresses for the Ho Chi Minh City showroom do not all match, so this guide does not print a street address. VI PICK confirms the current showroom, the piece, and the price before a visit. The public page used by the house is Chung Thanh Phong Bridal on Facebook.
Send the gown or áo dài photo you want compared. VI PICK says whether that piece can be seen, measured against your numbers, and released for shipping.
What the showroom check cannot settle
A video from the shop is a view of the sample and a measurement comparison. It is not your body in the dress. Beadwork, lace, a train, and a corset back can all change the fit after the gown arrives. Approve what you can see while the dress is still in Vietnam. A house return window can close once the gown is exported.
A shop buying existing fashion in quantity uses Vietnamese fashion wholesale. Occasion labels that are not bridal houses stay on their own guides, including Kisserine and HUONG Boutique.
Guide FAQ
Wedding dress FAQ
Can Vi advise from inspiration photos?
Yes. Send the photos, your measurements, the wear date, and the delivery country. Vi says what can be found at an independent showroom, then sends a written quote before anything is bought. A note that only says “white wedding dress” is not enough.
What if I already ordered the dress at the shop?
Send the shop name, the appointment or order confirmation, and what you approved. VI PICK can collect the finished gown, check visible color, construction, closures, and condition, then arrange shipping. Vi is not on that shop’s staff.
Does VI PICK design or sew the wedding dress?
No. Vi advises, and can buy or collect a gown from an independent showroom. VI PICK is not affiliated with Linh Nga, VI Dressmakers, Nicole, Lotus, or Chung Thanh Phong.
What should a bride send first?
Send inspiration photos, a product link, or the shop appointment, plus bust, waist, hip, and height in centimeters. Add the wear date, delivery country, and whether you need a gown, an áo dài, or both.
Can a rented Vietnamese wedding dress be shipped overseas?
Do not assume so. Nicole Bridal’s FAQ says rental is for local brides. Lotus Design says wedding-dress rental starts in Vietnam only. VI PICK confirms whether the piece is a purchase that can leave Vietnam before anyone pays.
Can VI PICK guarantee the dress will fit?
No. Showroom photos and a measurement comparison are not a fitting on your body. Some houses still ask the bride to try a dress form in Vietnam. Approve the size from those measurements while the gown is still in Vietnam, and plan alterations after it arrives.
